Here are some of the events and projects we are currently working on:
Public festivals and events:
New mexico wine growers association festivals
We currently manage 2 festivals for the New Mexico Wine Growers Association, beginning and ending the summer. These are large public festivals with attendance from 10,000 – 15,000 people at each one. We have managed these events since 2004. They are:
- Southern NM Wine Festival (Memorial Weekend, Las Cruces)
- Harvest Wine Festival (Labor Day Weekend, Las Cruces)

New Mexico Senior Olympics
The NMSO has contracted with us again to produce several events during their busy week of senior athletic events. We produce their Opening Ceremonies, Health Fair Expo, Closing Banquet and Ball. Tularosa Basin Wine and Music Fest
The combined Rotary Clubs of White Sands, Alamogordo, and Tularosa have contracted with us to produce a new event for them – a wine and music fest at the beautiful zoo, held on the same weekend as the White Sands Balloon Invitations. Alamogordo is the place to be September 20 and 21, 2008.
New Mexico Pumpkin Festival
We have a festival for every major agricultural product in the state and now we’ll have a Pumpkin Festival. Working with the Mesilla Valley Maze, we will produce the New Mexico Pumpkin Festival on October 11 and 12 complete with seed spitting contests, pumpkin carving contests, pie throwing and a Pumpkin Princess. Mesilla jazz happening (TEntative, October 4 & 5)
This relaxed community festival brings together local and regional jazz musicians, wine, and typically beautiful New Mexico fall weather for a great time. For more information about this event visit www.vivamesilla.org
Meetings
International symposium for personal spaceflight (October 21 – 23, 2008)
The space industry is growing and evolving right here in the Mesilla Valley. This 2 ˝ day event puts space travel enthusiasts and the curious in touch with the leaders in space industries. spacegrant.nmsu.edu/isps/index.html

Launch at Spaceport America, April 28, 2007.
Helping Hands Event Planning worked for the State of New Mexico’s Spaceport Authority to coordinate all site logistics and safety issues for the VIPs and viewing public. www.spaceportamerica.com
Memorial Service for Celestis, Inc.
HHEP planned a public celebration of life at the Alamogordo Space History museum for 202 individuals, including Jimmy Doohan and L. Gordon Cooper, whose ashes were being launched into space. After the public celebration, we had a private reception for the family members in the museum. . www.memorialspaceflights.com
Mountain Dreams Publishing Staff Party.
HHEP threw a great bash for the staff of Mountain Dreams to kick back and relax. Our theme was Las Vegas nights and we had casino tables, great décor, and, of course, Elvis.
El Paso Home and Garden Show Culinary Stage.
For this February Event, HHEP coordinated 4 days of cooking and wine demonstrations on the culinary stage. We brought in chefs from local restaurants to demonstrate culinary techniques, kitchen design, and food and wine pairing.
